چکیده

Abstract The fifth-generation (5G) systems have to deal with massive deployment of machine-type-communication (MTC) devices. System overload may occur during a random access procedure under limited number preamble resources and physical uplink shared channel especially when there exist MTC devices in cell. In order resolve the system (caused by deployment), 3GPP proposed adopted group paging (GP)-based technique. But its performances dramatically decrease as increases. this paper we propose novel method, named ACB-based control method (AGO). To reduce simultaneous devices, AGO first scatters over GP interval, then automatically adjusts ACB parameters according load conditions. By doing so, achieves high-channel probability for Simulation results show that is superior Pre-backoff mechanisms terms success collision probability, average latency resource utilization rate.

GBAAM: group-based access authentication for MTC in LTE networks

Machine Type Communication (MTC), as one of the most important communication approaches in the future mobile communication, has drawn more and more attention. To meet the requirements of low power consumption of devices and mass device transmission is the key issue to achieve MTC applications security in the Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks. When a large number of MTC devices simultaneously c...

Performance Analysis of Congestion Control for Massive MTC Networks

This paper describes scheduling and processing of congested packets in massive Machine Type Communications (MTC). When there are too many uplink packets, it may cause congestions in the Radio Access Network (RAN) and the Evolved Packet Core (EPC). To solve this problem, we propose a Critical Random Early Detection (CRED) method to compute the current average queue length for each process to det...

A New Fairness Index and Novel Approach for QoS-Aware Resource Allocation in LTE Networks Based on Utility Functions

Resource allocation techniques have recently appeared as a widely recognized feature in LTE networks. Most of existing approaches in resource allocation focus on maximizing network’s utility functions. The great potential of utility function in improving resource allocation and enhancing fairness and mean opinion score (MOS) indexes has attracted large efforts over the last few years. In this p...

A Novel Method for Designing and Optimization of Networks

In this paper, system planning network is formulated with mixed-integer programming. Two meta-heuristic procedures are considered for this problem. The cost function of this problem consists of the capital investment cost in discrete form, the cost of transmission losses and the power generation costs. The DC load flow equations for the network are embedded in the constraints of the mathematica...

Performance Analysis of a Novel Hybrid S-ALOHA/TDMA Protocol for Beta Distributed Massive MTC Access

Simultaneous random access of massive machine type communications (MTC) devices are expected to cause congestion in the radio access network. Not only the performance of MTC, but the coexisting human to human (H2H) communications would also degrade dramatically without an appropriate medium access control (MAC) protocol. However, most existing solutions focus on the random access procedure with...
